Building Stronger Chapters

Building Stronger Chapters is a major aspect of the strategic plan that has been laid out, and our efforts at doing so will be enhanced dramatically with an enthused and excited base of alumni volunteers from which to draw. Some of the possible ways that volunteers can assist the Fraternity in this area are below:

  • Serve as a member of a local Alumni Corporation Board or as a Chapter Advisor to a local chapter
  • Serve as a volunteer facilitator to be placed with a staff member to conduct a chapter planning retreat or chapter planning session with a local chapter
  • Serve as a volunteer to speak at a local chapter’s recruitment events about how Delta Sigma Phi has positively impacted your life and made you a better leader
  • Serve as a volunteer to assist staff members who are starting or re-starting a local chapter in your area
  • Refer a Recruit to a local chapter, which will aid in their recruitment of the top undergraduate talent on their campus
  • Invest in your chapter’s 21st Century Fund and help strengthen their ability to offer scholarship support to deserving members

All of the above are ideas as to ways in which someone may be utilized to assist in this area. If any of these are of particular interest to you, please click here to fill out the volunteer form and click the “Build Stronger Chapters” checkbox to indicate your interest in helping with this area of the Fraternity. You will be placed into a database of volunteers who have similar interests to you, and even if not utilized immediately, will be called upon to assist at some point in the future.

Please understand that we will likely have a large rush of volunteers as this campaign kicks off, so there may not be a spot for everyone who wants to volunteer immediately. We will do our best to utilize your services as quickly as possible in the way most aligned with your preferences.
