Today, the Fraternity is healthy with 106+ chapters and colonies and more than 4,500 undergraduate members. At 108 years old, we have 80,000+ living alumni who stand for our rich tradition of brotherhood. Our increased emphasis on academics, leadership and personal growth outside the classroom is making a difference in the lives and futures of our young brothers.

To continue the momentum established during our last campaign, the Foundation introduced the 1899 Society in April 2002. Since that time, the 1899 Society has become the backbone of the Foundation’s effort to prepare young brothers for lifelong success. Contributions from 1899 Society members provide a steady source of funding to ensure that young leaders experience competitive leadership training that will prepare them for careers and life after college. With 357 members giving $1000 or more per year, Delta Sigma Phi is the leader among fraternities of its size with members giving at this level.

However, compared to the average Fraternity Foundation, we have room for improvement in our available assets, which stand at $3.7 million today. The average Fraternity Foundation has assets almost double that at $6.5 million.

THE DELTA SIGMA PHI FOUNDATION PROUDLY ANNOUNCES…
BUILDING BETTER MEN: THE CAMPAIGN FOR DELTA SIGMA PHI

Our bold vision for the future of Delta Sigma Phi is to become America’s Leading Fraternity in:

Leadership Training…
by training the highest % of chapter members each year compared to other national fraternities

Academic Excellence…
by attaining a GPA in the Top 5 compared to all other national fraternities

Undergraduate Membership
by increasing average chapter size to reach Top 5 of all national fraternities

Alumni Involvement…
by engaging 2500+ alumni in the Fraternity in a meaningful way

The campaign has been extremely successful. We reached and exceeded our $10 million goal prior to June 30, 2008 and, as a result, extended the campaign to an end date of June 30, 2009.

The following three initiatives will help us reach our goal to Build Better Men:

LEADERSHIP & PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS

EDUCATIONAL HOUSING GRANTS

Through each of these initiatives, Delta Sigma Phi is Building Better Students. Better Leaders. Better Citizens. Better Professionals. Better Men.

Building Better Men: The Campaign for Delta Sigma Phi.

Recall the self-discovery and confidence that Delta Sigma Phi provided you, and consider how important it is today to offer the same for the young men who will follow in your footsteps.
