Andy Bremer joined the Fraternity’s staff in July 2010 as a new chapter development coordinator, a position in which he will be focused on expansion efforts and recruiting new members to Delta Sigma Phi’s new colonies and chapters. He joined the Fraternity’s Theta Rho Chapter at the University of Oregon in 2006.
In his chapter, Bremer made quite an impact in recruitment, which should serve him well in his position. During his time as the chapter’s recruitment chairman, he led the recruitment of Theta Rho’s largest new member class in its history - 30 men. At the time, this ranked third amongst Delta Sig chapters across the country. Bremer also served as the chapter’s Sergeant at Arms while an undergraduate.
On campus, Bremer served as the IFC Vice President of Recruitment, and assisted the Panhellenic Council in women’s sorority recruitment, again putting his skills to good use. He also played on the University of Oregon’s men’s rugby team, serving as a starter for three years. He was also named Mr. Greek at the University of Oregon in 2008, raising nearly $6,000 for cardiac care and the Alpha Phi Foundation.
In his spare time, Bremer enjoys playing sports, including golf, baseball, softball and basketball. He also is an avid musician, having played African and Brazilian drums since he was four years old.
