Bruce re-joined the Delta Sig staff in May 2006 as the Director of Alumni Relations. In June 2008, he transitioned to become the Director of Communications and Editor.
In his role, Bruce leads all aspects of the organization’s communication efforts, including continuing to serve as the Editor of The Carnation magazine. He also manages the Fraternity's web site content and social media presences, while continuing to develop relationships with the Fraternity's alumni.
Bruce holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts/Public Relations from Ohio Northern University. In addition, he is a member of the Association Forum of Chicagoland, in which he volunteers on the Editorial Content Working Group, and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), in which he serves as a member of the Communication Section Council. Hammond also serves on the Board of the Fraternity Communications Association.
In his spare time, Bruce enjoys volunteering for the Naperville Park District, serving as a Big Brother for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and traveling. He works remotely for the Fraternity and resides in Aurora, IL with his wife, Anna.
