PJ Schinella, Georgia College’06, PJ Schinella is a native of Saint Marys, Georgia, and is a 2009 graduate of Georgia College & State University. Schinella joined the Fraternity staff in January 2010 as an expansion coordinator, a position in that allowed him the opportunity to share the Delta Sig experience with men at Texas Tech, Miami University, The University of Texas and James Madison.
PJ currently serves the organization as marketing & social media manager, a role in which he is responsible for overseeing Delta Sigma Phi’s marketing and online communication efforts to ensure that all messaging is consistent with Vision 2025.
Schinella was a founding father of the Iota Alpha Chapter at GCSU, an experience which made his time as an undergraduate a positive one. During his extremely busy time as an undergraduate, Schinella served as his chapter’s new member educator, sergeant at arms, and vice president.
In addition to these roles, he was extremely involved on campus. Schinella was a student ambassador, orientation leader, campus tour guide, a member of the Homecoming Planning Committee, a writer and business manager for his campus newspaper, and a member of the Georgia College & State University competition cheerleading squad.
According to Schinella, “Being a founding father, I take great pride and joy watching the chapter’s continuous growth, and in watching members personally grow through their involvement in leadership positions. The most rewarding experience of this was at the chartering ceremony of my chapter. It was a sure sign that hard work does pay off and we had set a strong foundation for future members continued success.”
In his time away from work, PJ is getting acclimated to the Midwest and Indianapolis. PJ is an avid runner, and enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, all things Georgia and exploring new restaurants. PJ is also a member of the American Society of Association Executives, Fraternity Communications Association and East 91st Street Christian Church. PJ also volunteers with the Kiwanis and the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce.
