Delta Sigma Phi provides opportunities for its members, recognized groups and friends to excel and be recognized for their accomplishments. These recognitions are provided both for individuals and groups. Unless specifically noted, nominations for these awards and recognitions can come from initiated members, Chapters, Colonies, Alumni Corporation Boards or Alumni Associations.

 

The awards and honors discussed herein are standard throughout the fraternity. Local organizations may create their own awards, such as “Outstanding Member of the Year,” and are encouraged to do so in order that strong and faithful service to the fraternity may be fully recognized.

 

The awards and recognitions named on the first list are presented to individuals within the fraternity or to non-initiates of Delta Sigma Phi that deserve special recognition. Each of these is presented by the National Fraternity, and requires application to and approval by the body indicated on the application form. These awards are presented at National gatherings and consist of a plaque or other appropriate symbol.

 

The second list of awards and recognitions are those presented to groups. These awards are also presented by the National fraternity, and need to have nominations for them sent to the appropriate governing body as indicated on the application form. Many of these awards have set criteria for presentation.

 

Each award has its application form attached to the page if there is indeed an application form for the specific award. Please note the deadlines for application and what supporting documentation is required, if any. Please be certain to submit the appropriate application fees along with the application form.
